NEW POLY ROPES ARE HERE! What is the difference between the manila ropes and the poly ropes?
The manila rope is a natural fiber and does shed some. It has a rough surface and is chemically treated for strength so it has an initial smell to it and is best used for outdoor training. The rope will soften some with use and the smell does go away after a short period of time. This rope can be used for indoor training, but sweeping or vacuuming is necessary. The manila rope weighs 1 lb per foot. This rope can be used for both the Wave system & the Pole system.
The poly rope is made from a synthetic fiber and is more durable and longer lasting than the manila. It is very smooth to the touch and has no shedding or smell. Can be used indoors or out. The 2" rope weighs ¾ lb per foot. Can be used for Wave system or Pole system.
Our clients LOVE the ropes! They cannot believe the workouts that they're getting from them. I've made believers out of them. At first, they doubted the concept & thought that I was crazy. But once they went through the workouts they thought differently. We use them as often as possible. I will probably have to order some more of the 50 footers - 1/1/2" & 2" soon!
